The company is profitable, the market it operates in is projected to grow 20 to 50 times over the next decade, and Redwood is the only company with the supply chain, the technology, and the operational scale to lead it.\nAnalytical Laboratory Technician\nThe Analytical Lab Technician performs routine chemical and laboratory analytical tasks in support of production quality and safetyat Redwood Materials facilities. Working under supervision for all assigned tasks, this role is responsible for executing established laboratory procedures per written SOPs and TCMs, accurate sample handling and data entry, basic instrument operation, and adherence to all chemical safety and documentation standards. This role develops foundational proficiency in analytical methods, laboratory information systems, and lab safety while building toward independent operation. \nShifts: B shift - Sunday -Tuesday 5 pm - 5 am, alternating Wednesdays \nC shift - Sunday-Tuesday 5 am - 5 pm, alternating Wednesday\nResponsibilities will include: \nPrepares samples for analysis using established tests and techniques. \nAssists with and performs routine chemical, metrological, and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting. \nMaintains laboratory instrumentation and equipment, including troubleshooting and performing verifications. \nWorks in a production environment, sampling and testing physical characteristics. \nPerforms additional duties as required, including lab organization, inventory, safety audits, and special projects. \nWorks effectively in both team and individual environments. \nDesired Qualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in science or related field or 2+ years of related experience. \nExperience in laboratory settings, quality settings, or chemical production facilities. \nExperience in typical laboratory practices including waste handling, safe work practices, data entry and management, good documentation practices and experimental setup and execution. \nComfortable wearing personal protective equipment including but not limited to lab coats and respirators. \nExperience with relevant test methods such as ICP-OES, auto-titration, X-Ray Fluorescence, Total Organic Carbon, etc. \nExperience with sample prep and analysis, chemical handling and laboratory hazards. \nDemonstrates ability to perform basic chemistry math and calculations. \nAdept with data acquisition and analysis tools including Laboratory Information Management Systems and Microsoft Office. \nExcellent written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills \nExcellent attitude: understands priorities change with company needs and willing to work to ensure deadlines are met.
