The company is profitable, the market it operates in is projected to grow 20 to 50 times over the next decade, and Redwood is the only company with the supply chain, the technology, and the operational scale to lead it.\nMaintenance Technician\nThe Maintenance Technician is the primary executor of planned and reactive maintenance activities at Redwood Materials. Technicians are responsible forkeeping equipment, machinery, and facility systems in safe, reliable operating conditions. They work under the direction of the Supervisor and in close coordination with Production Operations, Reliability Engineering, and Controls teams. Technicians are expected to work safely, complete tasks accurately and on time, maintainprecise CMMS records, and escalate issues that exceed their scope of competency to the appropriate resource. \nResponsibilities will include: \nDevelop, implement, and support manufacturing and operational processes to meet production, quality, and business objectives \nFollow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocols (L.O.T.O., 5-S, Arc Flash, Enclosed Spaces, etc.), to ensure that the maintenance team operates safely. \nOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment and systems in accordance with established procedures and safety standards \nAnalyze operational and production data (e.g., yield, throughput, downtime, cost) to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities \nPrepare and maintain accurate operational, technical, and financial documentation, including reports, logs, and process records \nCoordinate with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to support day-to-day operations \nSupport planning and execution activities related to production schedules, materials, and cost or resource utilization \nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory and safety requirements \nDesired Qualifications: \nPrevious experience in an electronic assembly and/or troubleshooting background roles preferred \nExcellent critical thinking and time management skills \nAbility to follow complex written work instructions \nAbility to adapt to a changing environment \nAbility to use scanners, label printers, and other IT/OT equipment \nProficient hazard recognition skills \nOccasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs \nStand for extended periods (more than 80% of the shift) \nStoop, bend, push, pull and perform repetitive physical tasks \nThe position is full-time.
