The company is profitable, the market it operates in is projected to grow 20 to 50 times over the next decade, and Redwood is the only company with the supply chain, the technology, and the operational scale to lead it.\nProduction Associate\nThe Operations Associate will ensure the efficient movement and processing of materials to support production goals, facilitate the timely receipt of raw materials, and prepare finished goods for shipment in a collaborative work environment under specific safety and quality guidelines.\nHours:\nB Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am, Sunday - Tuesday (every other Wednesday)\nD Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am, Thursday - Saturday (every other Wednesday)\nResponsibilities will include: \nFoster a culture of safety compliance, with a focus on the use of production and operational equipment.\nOperate and train on material processing and manufacturing equipment such as material conveyance, shredding and milling, and material screening and separating.\nPick and load inventory needed for production areas.\nMaintain data and transactions within a Warehouse Management System and create reports to support management decision making.\nEstablish and model quality control mechanisms.\nMaintain a clean and orderly work area.\nSupport the internal flow of material to support production requirements.\nReceive inbound shipments from suppliers of raw materials, maintenance parts, and engineering equipment.\nParticipate in physical inventory audits, cycle counts, etc. to ensure inventory accuracy.\nFollow material flow strategies to improve operational efficiency.\nOperate and train on material movement equipment such as: PIT equipment, including, but not limited to,reach truck and forklift.\nAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.\nAs business demands change, additional essential responsibilities may be assigned.\nDesired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.\nHazardous Materials Handling Knowledge: Familiar with hazardous material handling practices; HAZWOPER certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification, to safely manage and respond to hazardous situations.\nPhysical Stamina & Mobility: Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, twisting, climbing, standing, and walking, including working in multi-level facilities and navigating various plant areas.\nRespirator & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Usage: Must be able to wear and work with respiratory protection (e.g., respirators or PAPRs) and other necessary PPE in compliance with safety standards.\nPassion for Sustainability: A strong commitment to sustainability practices and contributing to environmental stewardship and safety within the plant, with a focus on making a positive impact on the world.\nExceptional command of the English language, with advanced written and verbal communication skills.\nPrevious experience in warehousing or logistics, with a solid understanding of inventory management and operational workflows.\nA demonstrated track record of prioritizing and maintaining safety standards in all work environments.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.\nAbility to stand and walk frequently throughout the workday while performing operational and production-related tasks.\nAbility to sit occasionally for administrative, training, or computer-based activities.\nAbility to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with equipment operation, material handling, and routine production activities.\nAbility to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move materials weighing 25 to 50 pounds.\nAbility to occasionally bend, twist, reach above shoulder height, and climb stairs or ladders while performing job duties.\nAbility to safely operate mobile equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial trucks, as required.\nAbility to use computers, tablets, scanners, and other electronic devices for data entry and operational tasks.\nWorking Conditions:\nWork is primarily performed in an industrial manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.\nFrequent exposure to dust, fumes, and airborne particulates associated with production and material processing activities.\nContinuous exposure to elevated noise levels requiring the use of appropriate hearing protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE).\nAbility to work around moving mechanical equipment, industrial machinery, and powered material handling equipment.\nOccasional work at elevated heights while following established safety procedures and fall protection requirements.\nAbility to work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature fluctuations and changing weather conditions when working outdoors.\nMay be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime as business needs dictate.\nThe position is full-time.
