The company is profitable, the market it operates in is projected to grow 20 to 50 times over the next decade, and Redwood is the only company with the supply chain, the technology, and the operational scale to lead it.\nPosition Summary: \nThe Senior Construction Project Manager is a career-level role with full ownership of an assigned construction scope of moderate to significant complexity within the Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC) function. Working closely with the Construction Manager and Superintendents, this role coordinates with project management, infrastructure engineering, project controls, and procurement from preconstruction through completion and start of production. The role manages scheduling of trade contractors and vendor installations, resolves day-to-day construction issues, and tracks project schedule and budget, while owning RFIs, submittals, and procurement/RFPs for the assigned scope. The role operatesindependently, applying sound judgment on schedule, cost, and risktrade-offs, with work reviewed at key project milestones.This is an onsite role, with work performed in person. \nResponsibilities will Include:\nLeads daily meetings with subcontractors/crews to review production schedule and confirm materials, equipment, and resources are available; resolves day-to-day construction issues \nDevelops the project work plan and scheduling strategy for assigned scope, identifying and escalating risks to budget and schedule \nManages RFIs, submittals, procurement/RFPs, and schedule for assigned scope, and remits accurate project quantity input and cost coding to ensure accurate financial reporting \nReviews shop drawings, design specifications, and project data throughout the project to ensure quality and contract specification compliance \nProvides day-to-day guidance to Project Engineers and other junior staff on assigned scope \nConducts required Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), attends weekly safety meetings, and manages permits, inspections, and other documentation required for construction production \nReviews and approves daily timecards for construction crews and coordinates with the Office Manager, payroll, and job construction supervisors to resolve inquiries\nDesired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a related field required \n5+ years of construction engineering, scheduling, or design experience \nStrong knowledge of cost coding, budgeting, and other project-related financial implications \nStrong knowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practices \nAbility to build relationships and work effectively with internal and external partners unfamiliar with the subject matter \nKnowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and applicable project standards \nProven self-starter with strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment\nThe position is full-time.
