A staff-level engineer's differentiating trait is the execution of tasks that involve substantial complexity and require coordination between multiple software engineers or across different teams.The following requirements are MUST for this staff-level position:\nAt least 8 years of professional experience in at least two of the following domains:Space flight software\nSpace payload software\nEmbedded software\nReal-time mission-critical software\nMission control software\nSoftware validation and verification\nProduct Assurance, RAMS, security\nDevelopment tools and infrastructure\n\nOwnership of challenging technical topics\nVery good communication and collaboration skills. \nStrong ability to work independently while at the same time staying aligned with the existing software architecture, the team's development vector, and, very importantly, the customer needs.\nFocus on detail, quality, and testing\nExperience working in regulated environments\nExperience with industry standards such as ECSS, DO-178, IEC 61508, etc.\nWithin each domain, experience operating in one or more of the following roles:Technical lead\nSoftware architect\nSoftware systems engineer\nTechnical authority for an area critical to the business of your employer\nWhat We Offer:\nCollaborate with a diverse multinational team crafting the next wave of cutting-edge satellites.
