We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do

• Maintain accurate daily site records, including work progress, manpower, materials, and site activities.
• Work closely with the Director of Projects and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects, delays, or deviations from approved plans.
• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor the use of materials, equipment, labour, and other site resources.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, artisans, suppliers, and other site personnel.
• Support quality control, snagging, rectification, and project handover activities.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved project schedules.
• Monitor compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.
• Prepare regular site progress reports and escalate project issues to the Project/Operations team.
• Review drawings and provide technical clarification where required.
• Take measurements and support the preparation and verification of work quantities and project records.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship, materials, and construction processes on site.

What We’re Looking For

• Good knowledge of construction quality and safety requirements.
• Proven experience supervising construction activities on residential, commercial, or similar projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, and site practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work effectively on-site and travel to project locations as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong reporting, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to coordinate contractors and artisans and monitor their output.
• Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC relevant experience in site engineering, construction, real estate development, or a related role.
• Membership of a relevant professional body or professional certification is an advantage.
