Regal Rexnord is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has manufacturing, sales and service facilities worldwide.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nPosition Summary:\nRegal Rexnord is seeking an experienced product design professional with a mechanical engineering background to support Design To Order (DTO) or Engineered To Order (ETO) work involving component or layout designs.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nExecute standard and special ETO/DTO enquiries and orders.\nDesigns and/or improves routine components and products with guidance on manufacturability, quality and cost with a strong understanding of design tools and methods.\nWork on ECRs/ECNs, review and release complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned time\nSolves problems with a strong understanding of problem solving techniques and ability to apply to routine design problems.\nDevelop test plans from existing test protocol for products or components.\nAssist in capturing voice of customer and development of simple product specifications. Translates customer needs to manufacturing requirements.\nCreate design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc.\nCommunicate effectively and professionally with cross functional teams and customers.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as required.\nRequired Education / Experience / Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed college with good academic record.\n6+ years of experience in designing any industrial products like couplings, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, turbines, clutches, brakes, material handling equipment or machine tools..\nAbility to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nProficient in creating drawings and models using any of the CAD software like SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Creo, or Inventor.\nExperience in using any ERP and PLM will be an added advantage.\nExposure to Industry standards such as ANSI/DIN/AGMA/API/ISO etc\nStrong Knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards.\nSelf-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.\nProficient in Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nProficient in verbal, written communication and presentation skills.\nStrong Analytical Skills, Decision Making, Critical Thinking\nExcellent planning and execution skills\nStrong interpersonal skill, Team player & collaboration skills.\nTravel: Regional or global, less than 10%.\nLanguage: Primarily English.
