As we are expanding into a new facility near Arlington, TX, we're seeking an exceptional Tester to work closely with our Quality Supervisor and the other leaders to build and grow this new facility.\nReporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Tester will ensure that projects are completed in a safe and timely manner.Team members must successfully complete employer-provided training during the first 6 weeks of onboarding in Canada; company will assist with travel documentation as needed.\nRole Summary\nElectrical Tester:\nPerform all testing and quality assurance activities across switchboard and electrical panel manufacturing operations.\nThis role ensures products meet electrical design standards and functionality.\n Engages with a team of testers and inspectors and drives continuous improvement in quality processes.\nThe tester acts as the bridge between production, engineering, and quality management.\nKey Responsibilities\nTesting\nPerform daily testing and inspection of switchboards and panelboards and related sub-assemblies.\nEnsure compliance with internal quality standards.\nReview and approve electrical test reports, inspection checklists, and quality documentation.\nTroubleshoot electrical issues identified during testing and coordinate corrective actions with production team.\nTeam Coordination\nTrain new team members on testing procedures and protocols, feedback test scripts and inspection standards.\nQuality Assurance & Compliance\nMaintain and enforce quality control procedures for testing on finished products\nCollaborate with engineering to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.\nParticipate in root-cause analysis for defects detected during testing and participate in corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).\nSupport internal and external ISO 9001 audits, including UL and customer inspections.\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify gaps in testing processes and propose improvements to reduce defects and rework.\nUtilize lean manufacturing and quality tools (5S, Kaizen, SPC, FMEA).\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure all testing activities follow electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.\nMaintain calibration records for testing instruments and equipment.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum High school diploma or GED required, technical diploma/certifications in electrical related field preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years of testing experience in electrical assembly.\nStrong knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems and concepts.\nHands-on experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting tools (multimeters, insulation testers, hi-pot testers).\nStrong knowledge in low/medium voltage switchgear assembly, wiring, and testing including reading complex electric schematics and work instructions.\nAbility to troubleshoot and solve practical electrical problems on the line with limited standardization or precedent.\nDemonstrated adherence to Regal Rexnord Values: Integrity, Responsibility, passion to win, Performance, customer success…sense of urgency\nPreferred Requirements\nExperience in communication protocols based on MODBUS and troubleshooting\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to accurately prepare and enter data into spreadsheets.\nKey Competencies\nTeam engagement\nStrong electrical troubleshooting\nQuality mindset and attention to detail\nCommunication and cross-functional collaboration\nProcess discipline and documentation accuracy\nLocation: Arlington, TX\nPay: $28-34 hour (based on experience)\nSchedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 5:45AM-4:15PM\nOvertime: May be required\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Coverage\nSpending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)\nPaid Time Off and Holidays\n401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer Contributions\nLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance\nPaid Leaves\nTuition Assistance\nAbout Regal Rexnord\nRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
