The Operations Manager provides leadership and guidance to Production Superintendents and Supervisors and works cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and other operational areas to align priorities, resources, and production requirements.\nThe role also leads daily operational execution through Visual Daily Management by Business Unit and Value Stream, drives short- and long-term problem resolution, and supports continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost reduction, and growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead production and maintenance activities across all shifts to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth objectives.\nTranslate production and sales plans into effective manufacturing execution.\nCoordinate and direct production teams to streamline processes and improve operational performance.\nEnsure the proper operation and availability of production lines, machinery, and equipment.\nOptimize labor, equipment, materials, and other manufacturing resources while maintaining established quality standards.\nLead Business Unit and Value Stream teams to deliver area-specific operating results.\nMonitor operational KPIs and implement effective countermeasures when performance is below target.\nDrive waste reduction, productivity improvement, cost control, and achievement of business objectives.\nManage departmental budgets and manufacturing headcount.\nLead maintenance priorities, including preventive, corrective, and autonomous maintenance programs.\nEnsure the availability of critical equipment and spare parts needed to support the production plan.\nProvide leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and development support to Production Superintendents, Supervisors, and other direct reports.\nProvide recommendations related to hiring, promotions, performance management, and disciplinary actions.\nPartner with functional and operational leaders to understand current and future product requirements and integrate those needs into manufacturing plans.\nDevelop and support plans, cost estimates, and schedules for manufacturing activities and operational improvement initiatives.\nLead continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost reduction, and growth.\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety procedures, operational standards, and performance metrics.\nPromote a strong culture of accountability, problem-solving, industrial safety, and continuous improvement.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nAt least 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, materials, manufacturing engineering, quality, or a related operational function.\nAdvanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, assembly lines, and production standards.\nDemonstrated experience leading production teams and managing operational performance.\nStrong critical-thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.\nStrong communication, leadership, organizational, and documentation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively across functional areas.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office.\nBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.\nAvailability to travel as business needs require.\nCurrent passport and U.S. visa.\nPreferred Qualifications\nLean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.\nExperience leading Business Units or Value Streams in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience using Visual Daily Management and performance indicators to drive operational results.\nExperience managing production and maintenance operations across multiple shifts.\nAbout Regal Rexnord\nRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
