We help companies across industries find and comply with guidance that goes beyond what is written into statutes.\nWho we’re looking for:\nThis role sits at the intersection of engineering, sales, and product. You’ll get to work directly with Regbase’s customers from the first conversation through implementation, rapidly build solutions to their problems, and bring what you learn back into the core product.\nYou’ll have a high amount of ownership and variety: one week you might build an MVP for a prospective customer, the next you might improve an AI agent, and the next you might turn something you've built for one customer into a main product feature.\nYou should apply if:\nYou’re a strong generalist engineer who wants to work directly with customers, rapidly build things, and then turn those learnings into the core product.\nWhat you will do:\nWork directly with Regbase's customers from pre-sale through implementation and ongoing use\nBuild MVPs and prototypes to solve customer problems\nImplement custom software and integrations for customers alongside CTO Ethan Shea\nBuild strong relationships with customers and deeply understand their workflows\nIdentify patterns across customer needs and turn them into product opportunities\nContribute data, research, and feedback to Regbase's internal corpus\nContribute features and improvements to the core product\nAnalyze, evaluate, and improve AI agent performance\nAbout you:\n2-5 years of experience Software Engineering\nIntellectually curious about laws, regulations and public policy\nExcited about AI development, with hands-on experience building with LLMs\nComfortable working directly with customers and communicating technical ideas clearly\nA collaborative team player who believes strong teams can drive significant change\nKeen to experiment, challenge norms and deliver secure and reliable systems that delight Regbase’s users\nLeverage AI in your daily life and work\nBonus if you are:\nComfortable in Typescript\nExperienced working in a customer-facing engineering, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed role\nHave a keen eye for visual design\nLocated in or willing to quickly move to New York\nWhat We Provide:\nA flexible, fast-paced work environment in New York City\nWork directly with the CTO and CEO\nThe opportunity to shape the product, and work directly with customers\nOutsized ownership over your work and no limit to personal growth\nA salary of $150k-225k per year\nEquity of 0.1-0.25%\n We love efficiency and hate performative work.
