This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.\nWhen & where:\nLocation: East Greenbush, New York, United States\nWorking shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 4:00pm-12:30am\nTraining shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm for approximately 6 months\nDiscover your role:\nProvide automation technical support, troubleshooting, and assistance during routine operations, maintenance activities, equipment setups, and changeovers for manufacturing operations of GMP Bulk Biologics, Fill/Finish, and Clean Utilities systems\nIdentify and implement corrective or preventive maintenance, component replacements, or corrections on automated systems as needed\nCommunicate and coordinate Automation issue resolution for manufacturing and facilities groups\nFull gowning when entering and working on production floor\nUtilize specialized personal protective equipment as required, including arc flash, when working near energized equipment or when working in construction environments\nWork independently and safely around all industrial equipment\nThis role requires:\nAssociate degree in Engineering or a related technical field and the following years of experience supporting process control and/or data acquisition systems; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered:Automation Technician II: 2+ years of related experience\nAutomation Technician III: 5+ years of related experience\nAutomation Technician IV: 8+ years of related experience\n\nExperience troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and computerized systems, preferably in a regulated environment\nKnowledge of ladder logic, PID control, electrical control systems, instrumentation, and current and voltage characteristics in DC and 120/240/480 VAC circuits\nAbility to diagnose or troubleshoot electrical control circuits utilizing a digital multimeter and electrical schematics\nBasic understanding of data integrity regulations\nSpecial emphasis on machine controls preferred, with specific knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens control system products strongly preferred; basic knowledge of B&R control system products is helpful\nExperience with servers, virtualization, distributed control, and basic networking is preferred\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nLevel will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role\nDoes this sound like you?
