This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.\nWhen & where:\nLocation: East Greenbush, New York, United States\nWorking shift: Sunday-Wednesday 6:00am-4:30pm\nTraining shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm\nDiscover your role:\nMaintain electrical power systems and stand-by power generation equipment, as well as accurate electrical one-line drawings\nMaintain an inventory of essential fuses and circuit breakers\nDirect outside service providers to provide and install electrical work and PMs\nAssist Mechanical Technicians on facility or process equipment electrical issues\nInstall lighting, electrical, and computer wiring when appropriate\nSchedule work and maintain all preventative maintenance for on-site emergency generators utilizing contracted services\nSchedule and maintain documentation on infrared scans for all electrical enclosures\nDevelop, establish, and conduct annual employee training classes on electrical safety procedures and practices\nThis role requires:\nAAS in Engineering or Construction Technologies and the following minimum amounts of experience for each level; relevant Journeyman-level experience may be substituted for degreeElectrician II: 2+ years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nElectrician III: 5+ years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\n\nExperience with high voltage is beneficial\nProficiency with electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints\nAbility to work independently in a constantly evolving, collaborative environment\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the organization\nSome exposure to MS Office Suite, specifically Excel\nParticipating in rotational on-call schedule\nMay involve working off-shift to support 24/7 coverage\nLevel will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role\nThe environment and physical rhythms of this role:\nGowning: Full cleanroom attire (examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)\nAbility to remove jewelry, makeup and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire\nAbility to perform physical requirements for entirety of shift (up to 10 hours) in a clean room environment\nSome physical requirements can include but are not limited to: bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting, squatting, walking, standing, driving, hand manipulation and ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs\nDoes this sound like you?
