This role will oversee implementation of both clinical and commercial manufacturing production schedules. This is an opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.\nWhen & where:\nLocation:Initial: Rensselaer, New York, United States\nPermanent: Saratoga Springs, New York, United States\n\nWork model: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pmOther requirements: Occasional flexibility may be requested for on-call schedule/weekend work\n\nDiscover your role:\nManages all aspects of production operations in a GMP biologics drug substance facility\nLeads the manufacturing implantation of technology transfer\nDrafts and implements long-term planning for the process, staff, and budget\nPerforms personnel management functions (i.e. annual employee evaluations, coaching, disciplining, etc.)\nPrepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends\nMakes decisions; develops and implements policies\nEnsures that policies and procedures are effectively administered and that they comply with regulatory requirements\nWorking with, designing, and implementing single-use process equipment\nThe environment and physical rhythms of the role:\nGowning: Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)\nAbility to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire\nThis role requires:\nBS/BA in Life Sciences or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience in GMP biologics manufacturing and 3+ years of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience\nExperience with MES, DCS, and advanced process control systems\nDoes this sound like you?
