This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.\n When & where:\nLocation: Troy, NY\nWork model: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm\n Discover your role:\nManage the performance, training, development, and results of the team\nProvide technical and automation support to manufacturing\nOversee activities related to the configuration and support of manufacturing process equipment and the maintenance of cGMP software administration program\nManage periodic evaluation reports for automated systems used in commercial manufacturing\nOversee the investigation of manufacturing deviations and anomalies related to automation and software\nManage projects related to corrective action or equipment performance improvement.\nImplement modification/change control procedures and protocols.\nSupport Validation with initial design review, software testing and protocol review\n This role requires:\nBS/BA in Engineering, software programming, or a related field, and the following amount of experience with automated equipment for each level:\nAssociate Automation Manager: 6+ Years\nAutomation Manager: 7+ Years\nLevel will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role\n1 to 3+ years of supervisory experience required, depending on level (Associate Manager or Manager).\n1+ year of direct experience in the design, installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting of automated control systems.\nUnderstanding of bioprocessing and testing software, cGMP software quality principles, and data integrity regulations.\nDemonstrated experience with industrial automation and control systems, including PLC and Human Machine Interface (HMI) technologies.\nKnowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms, industrial communication networks, process historians, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).\nExperience developing and reviewing Software Lifecycle (SLC) documentation, engineering design documents, technical evaluations, test plans, and validation documentation for cGMP automated systems.\nDemonstrated ability to mentor and empower a team of automation professionals under demanding timelines.\nAbility to organize and present technical overviews to engineering staff, multi-functional departments, and management.\nStrong communication skills across all levels and a blend of business and technical savvy.\nCommitment to compliance with regulatory, corporate, and site-specific policies and procedures.\nDoes this sound like you?
