We are seeking a Senior Manager, Clean Environments to lead all aspects of HEPA filter, clean environment equipment, and cleanroom certifications, including compliance and management of contracts and projects. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations of the Clean Environment Certifications Group, including staff leadership and resource management. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.\nWhen & where:\nLocation: Rensselaer, New York, United States\nWork model: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm\nDiscover your role:\nManage Tech Ops Clean Environment Certifications teams and outside contractors to maintain equipment in a validated state supporting the production schedule, and support routine certification of clean environments in compliance with governing SOPs\nPlan departmental staffing patterns and operating expenses, and direct, train, and evaluate both exempt and non-exempt employees assigned to the function\nOversee contracts for day-to-day activities and projects, including project planning, budgeting, design, and project management, and manage contractors on the approved supplier list\nPerform Area Manager duties, ensuring timely completion of clean environment certification quality investigations, and act as subject matter expert during regulatory inspections\nHandle all aspects of employee/labor relations, including performance management, hiring, discipline, and retention, while fostering a safe work culture\nLead GMP quality event investigations and associated CAPAs from initiation through closure, and serve as the lead SME when presenting to auditors\nInterface regularly with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and other functional areas to resolve conflicts and facilitate critical quality system decisions\nEnsure GMP, Federal, State, and Local regulations are followed, as evidenced by internal audits and government agency inspections\nMonitor and maintain all scheduled and on-demand certifications for clean rooms and clean environment equipment, and lead development of related policies and procedures\nThis role requires:\nBS/BA in Engineering, scientific, or related field (Engineering preferred) and 8+ years of engineering, facilities, manufacturing, and/or project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nExcellent analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills\n Gowning and Physical Requirements:\nFull cleanroom attire (examples may include including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)\nAbility to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire is required\n Preferred Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience operating a clean environment certification program\n5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or other cGMP environment\n5+ years of experience in a leadership role\nDoes this sound like you?
