We are seeking a Senior Manager, Process Sciences to join our Process Sciences laboratory team, supporting the development and optimization of upstream manufacturing processes for biological medicines.\nIn this role, you will lead a team of scientists and laboratory professionals while driving scientific excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation across process development activities.\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-\ndriven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide.\nWhen & Where\nShift Requirements: Primarily standard business hours with flexibility required to support business needs.\nLocation: Raheen, Limerick, Ireland.\nFlexibility & Travel: Limited travel may be required to support cross-functional projects and collaborations.\n Other Requirements: Ability to work in laboratory environments and support operational activities as needed.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and develop a team of Scientists and Associates, fostering technical growth, collaboration, and high performance.\nOversee laboratory-based cell culture studies focused on optimizing biological drug production processes.\nDrive process improvements by evaluating and implementing new technologies, workflows, and monitoring approaches.\nManage day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring equipment, facilities, supplies, and resources are maintained and available.\nDesign and oversee scientifically sound experiments using scale-down models and data-driven methodologies.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze results, solve complex technical challenges, and support process development goals.\nPrepare and review scientific documentation, including study protocols, reports, technical transfer documents, and regulatory support materials.\nPresent findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.\nThe Environment and Physical Rhythms of This Role\nWork in a laboratory environment requiring adherence to safety, chemical handling, and biosafety procedures.\nWear appropriate laboratory personal protective equipment and gowning as required.\nParticipate in activities that may require standing, walking, bending, and handling laboratory materials and equipment.\nSupport a safe, organized, and inspection-ready laboratory environment.\nLet's Find Out If We're a Fit\nA Master's or Doctoral degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related scientific discipline.\nSignificant industry experience in process development, cell culture, bioprocessing, or related scientific fields.\nExperience leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams in a laboratory or manufacturing support environment.\nStrong knowledge of experimental design, scientific data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.\nExperience managing laboratory operations, priorities, budgets, and resource planning.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex scientific information to diverse audiences.\nExperience authoring and reviewing technical documentation and scientific reports.\nKnowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and regulated biopharmaceutical environments is preferred.\nDoes this sound like you?
