This position offers the opportunity to contributeto a fast-growing, science-drivenorganization making a meaningful differenceto patients worldwide.\n When & where:\nLocation: Troy, New York, United States\nWork model: Onsite Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm\n Discover your role:\nLead data center, network room, and critical facility infrastructure projects fromconcept through commissioning and turnover.\nDevelopproject scopes, budgets, schedules, equipment specifications, and infrastructure project plans.\nManageconsultants, contractors, vendors,and commissioning teams to deliver projects safely and with minimal disruption to business operations.\nCoordinateinfrastructure upgrades, equipment replacements, capacity expansions, and long-term infrastructure initiatives.\nPartner with Quality Assurance, Validation,and System Owners to assess GMP impacts and support compliantproject execution.\nSupport qualification, commissioning, documentation, and inspection readinessfor critical infrastructure modifications.\nProvide engineering support for power, cooling, electrical, HVAC, chilled water,emergency power, and related facility systems.\nInvestigate infrastructure issues, perform risk assessments, support outage and contingency planning and coordinateacross teams to ensure successful execution of critical work..\n This role requires:\nBS/BA or MS in Engineering or a related field and the minimum years of relevant experiencelisted below for each level:Staff Facilities Engineer: BS with10+ years of relevant experience, or MS with9+ years of relevant experience\nSenior Staff Facilities Engineer: BS with12+ years of relevant experience, or MS with11+ years of relevant experience\nLevel will be determinedbased on qualifications relevant to the role\n\nDemonstrated experience managingfacility infrastructure projects fromdesign through commissioning and turnover.\nWorking knowledge ofdata center operations, IT infrastructure requirements, network rooms (IDF/MDF), structured cabling systems, capacity planning,redundancy,power, cooling, and space requirements.\nWorking knowledge ofelectrical and mechanical buildingsystems, including UPS systems, emergency generators, electrical distribution, switchgear, transfer switches, HVAC, chilled water,and data center cooling systems.\nExperience managingcontractors, vendors, consultants, and multi-functional project partners.\nStrong troubleshooting,root cause analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nExperience working within regulated quality systems and supporting commissioning, qualification, documentation, and inspection readinessactivities.\nExperience in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment preferred.\nKnowledge of change control, CAPA, commissioning, qualification, validation, reliability engineering, lifecycle asset management, and business continuity preferred.\nExperience supporting critical manufacturing, automation, or data center infrastructure preferred.\nProfessional certification such as PMP or Certified Data Center Engineer preferred.\nDoes this sound like you?
