Capable of 180 miles at 180 mph on today's battery tech (and up to 400 miles with next-gen batteries), Seagliders will unlock fast, affordable, and sustainable coastal transit for passengers and cargo - connecting cities, islands, and communities like never before.\nBacked by leading investors and powered by a team of passionate, forward-thinking engineers, builders, and operators, we’re now scaling from a breakthrough prototype to full production - and building the team to make it happen.\nRole Overview\nAs a Commercial BD Data Intern at REGENT, you'll work hand in hand with both the Business Development and the Engineering team to bring to life data-driven tools and models that predict the cost, efficiency, and feasibility of Seagliders around the world!\nDuring your internship, you will have the opportunity to develop internal tools to better inform our potential market, the vehicle's performance, and the costs associated with bringing a new technology to life, as well as to create client-facing materials used to sell Seagliders around the globe.\nIn this position, you'll get the best of both worlds: the opportunity to take the lead on some long-term data-intensive projects while also assisting with short-turnaround materials to support the sales team. You will use your technical background while staying close to clients, gaining valuable insight into their wants, needs, and concerns.\nWhat You'll Do\nBusiness Cases: Develop Seaglider business cases to present to external stakeholders\n\nProduct Strategy: Support the development of REGENT Seagliders through product strategy analysis\n\nInternal Tool Development: Develop internal tools to forecast product performance and cost\n\nCustomer Success Support: Participate in customer visits and meetings\n\nEcosystem Development: Support ecosystem development efforts\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nCommunication Skills: Great communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nMicrosoft Office: Mastery of PowerPoint and Excel\n\nAnalytical Skills: Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills\n\nData Analytics: Proficiency in data cleaning, processing, and visualization\n\nFast Pace: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities\n\nWho We're Looking For\nCollaborative Team Player: You believe that great things happen when teams work together.
