You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.\nJob Description:\nAt Regions, the Systems Administrator oversees installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nProvides expertise to the design, planning, implementation, operation, and security of systems\nEnsures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization\nOversees the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software\nImplements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system\nMonitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements\nProvides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting\nManages compliance in Security and Regulatory standards\nExecutes scripting as needed (i.e. PowerShell and Bash)\nConducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines\nDevelops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation\nDrives improvements to processes and design enhancements\nCoordinates, facilitates, and verifies projects across multiple environments\nEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices\nThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in a related field or a technical training program and six (6) years of related experience\nOr High School Diploma or GED and ten (10) years of related experience\nCertifications/Licensures\nCompTIA Security+ certification\nSkills and Competencies\nAbility to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance\nAbility to multitask and prioritize projects\nAbility to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment\nAdvanced knowledge of operating systems\nExcellent customer service skills\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nExcellent interpersonal communication skills\nTHIS POSITION IS 2ND SHIFT MON-FRI 3PM-11PM\nAdditional Skills preferred:\nPowerShell\nFamiliarity with reading network trace logs\nHarness\nGitHub enterprise\nIIS Web Server\nActive Directory\nThis position is currently offsite, preferably close to a Regions office within our retail branch footprint (click\n\nhere\n\nto see our locations).
