Art Director

At Rehire, we are partnering with a renowned global leader in information, analytics, and technology in their search for an Art Director, a key position within their expanding in-house creative agency in Buenos Aires working alongside global colleagues.

We are looking for a conceptual thinker, campaign builder, and visual storyteller-not just an execution designer-with a strong balance between strategic ideation and hands-on design execution. The successful candidate will work closely with Creative Directors, copywriters, and marketing partners to turn complex B2B and financial marketing challenges into original campaign ideas, bringing them to life across digital, social, web, video, print, and experiential touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

· Brief Analysis & Strategy: Start from the brief to deeply understand business challenges, marketing goals, audience insights, and strategic opportunities behind each assignment.

· Conceptual Campaign Ideation: Partner closely with copywriters and multidisciplinary teams to generate original, big-idea campaign concepts that solve the brief rather than simply executing against an existing visual direction.

· Visual Direction & Concept Creation: Establish and define overarching visual concepts-including art direction, imagery, typography, composition, motion, and brand touchpoints.

· Integrated System Building: Develop cohesive visual systems and languages that flex seamlessly across digital, web, social, video, print, presentations, and interactive marketing channels.

· Multi-Touchpoint Execution: Direct and execute high-quality creative output across touchpoints, ensuring visual storytelling and copy work together as one unified concept.

· Stakeholder Presentations: Present creative concepts clearly, articulating strategic thinking and logic behind them to Creative Directors, marketing partners, and global business stakeholders.

· Feedback & Iteration: Rapidly synthesize stakeholder feedback, evolve concepts thoughtfully, and maintain high visual quality through rounds of iteration.

· Data & Financial Context: Develop an understanding of the company, its target audiences, and global financial market context to translate complex domain data into clear, compelling visual storytelling.

· AI & Workflow Innovation: Leverage AI tools and emerging creative technologies to accelerate exploration, expand possibilities, and optimize workflow efficiency.

· Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines with exceptional craft and high attention to detail.

Requirements:

· Experience: 2 to 4+ years of experience as an Art Director within a creative agency or corporate in-house creative team.

· Portfolio: An updated portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking, integrated marketing campaigns, and B2B, Corporate, or Financial Services work (MANDATORY).

· Core Technical Stack: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), plus working knowledge or familiarity with design/prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch.

· Languages: Advanced to fluent written and spoken English skills for daily collaboration and presentation of ideas with global stakeholders (MANDATORY).

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Art Direction, Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, or equivalent professional experience.

· Video & Motion: Hands-on experience or skills in motion graphics/video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) alongside web design principles.

· AI Tools: Practical experience incorporating AI-powered design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI) into creative workflows.

· Project Tools: Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, or Slack.

· Industry: Direct experience in Financial Services, Fintech, or B2B marketing with a solid understanding of complex data visualization.

About the Position:

· Work Model: Hybrid, based in Buenos Aires City (Puerto Madero).

· Working Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday).

· Contract Type: Direct employment. This is a permanent position.
