Tools Management (50% of time)

• Inventory Control: Maintain a strict check-in/check-out of all tools and special equipment.
• Calibration & Compliance: Track calibration schedules for precision instruments (torque wrenches, alignment tools, multimeters & lifting equipment’s) ensuring 100% compliance.
• Procurement: Identify worn-out tools, raise purchase requisitions for replacements.
• Housekeeping: Ensure the maintenance of the workshop and tools are organized, clean, and safe.
• Emergency support: Provide tools support to service team out of office hours (24/7 basis)

Overhauling & Repair Execution (50% of time)

• Assisted Overhauling: Participate in the planned dismantling, cleaning, inspection, and rebuilding of 6OK and 30K overhauling.
• Breakdown Support: Assist in troubleshooting and executing fast, reliable mechanical/electrical repairs to minimize downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute routine PM (2K, 3.3K 10K & 20K maintenance)

Financial Recovery Breakdown:

• Tool Tracking: Centralized tool management stops tools from going missing, cutting replacement costs, extending tool life, and keeping technicians working on Engine longer.
• Faster Overhauls: Having parts and tools ready before starting cuts setup delays by about 30%, shortening major engine overhauls from 18 days to 12 days to get machines running faster and keep customers happy.
• Quick Emergency Response: Ready-to-go emergency toolkits help the service team respond to breakdowns instantly, minimizing downtime and building customer trust

Key Requirement:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience in workshop / Engineering firm.
• Ability to read mechanical diagrams (P&IDs), and technical manuals.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Excel) for tracking tool inventory.
