This role will also executes projects by reusing a production technology or architecture based on existing product(s).\nSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES\nCoordinate testing activities according to test plans for the development of new engines, improvement of current engines and customization for new applications.\nDevelop testing activities for new product design, product improvements, customer product applications. Develop and validate, from functional and reliability point of views, technical solutions for products, systems and components.\nCoordinate testing and development activities of engines executed by other teams.\nAct as reference for other function (Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Assembly) for testing activities on assigned engines.\nDirect work on assigned projects by technicians, involving testing and experimental activities.\nPrepares test plans, including task breakdowns and timeline and submit them to the manager\nPrepare technical reports as requested to show progress and results achieved.\nEstablishes specifications, test plans and design documentation that satisfies a wide range of requirements.\nAble to understand, discuss or request complex engineering analysis by the CAE team.\nDemonstrates a curious and pragmatic mind with the capacity to learn.\nKeep updated of state-of-the-art and important events in areas relevant to engine technologies, including electronic control, through publications, outside contacts, meetings, shows, seminars and short courses.\nSupport to manufacturing in case of new product start of production to assess thresholds and methodology of tests\nRELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS\nSupervisory Relationships:\nReports to the Manager-Product Development, Diesel Engines;\nOrganization Relationships:\nFrequent contact with Product Concept, Platform, Engine Integration, and Quality teams\nContact with Product Validation Team\nOperates under close supervision\nWorks closely and effectively with a range of cross-functional associates\nIntegrates the work of technical experts into projects and assignments\nContributes effectively as a team member\nExternal Business Relationships:\nOccasional contact with engine component suppliers\nOccasional contact with customers\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering required.\nOne year of related work experience or solid internship is preferred.\nTECHNICAL KNOW-HOW COMPULSORY TO COVER THIS POSITION\nBasic knowledge of engine technology and components\nGood knowledge of engine operation and Diesel combustion and emission process\nBasic knowledge of electronics and electro-technical\nBasic knowledge of electronic injection and control systems, technology and components.\nBasic knowledge of project management and problem solving\nBasic knowledge of Reliability Risk Analysis tools\nBasic knowledge of ISO norms on engine performance measurements\nBasic knowledge of NPD process\nBasic knowledge of AVL-Puma test automation systems, AVL-Concerto, AVL-Cameo.\nAbility to work with acquisition systems, tools and devices (Etas, Vector, AVL)\nGood knowledge of Calibration tools (i.e. INCA)\nBasic knowledge of Calibration Management tools (i.e. Creta)\nAbility to use modeling and post-processing tools (i.e. Matlab, Simulink)\nBasic knowledge and ability to utilize MS Project\nUpper intermediate English knowledge required, both written and verbal\nSOFT SKILLS\nAdaptability and Change management\nBuilding relationships\nBasic communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written\nCooperation and teamwork abilities\nBasic capability to analyze data and recommend the necessary solutions\nBasic problem solving skill\nBasic planning ability\nTime management and prioritization ability\nAbility to work in multitasking and under stress\nInnovative spirit & Customer Orientation\nAbout Us\nL'azienda Rehlko vanta una lunga tradizione di passione ed impegno nello sviluppo dei collaboratori e delle collaboratrici e delle comunità, oltre ad offrire pacchetti retributivi e benefit competitivi.
