We provide:\nCompetitive compensation and benefits\n\nWork-life flexibility\n\nRecognition and rewards\n\nDevelopment and career opportunities\n\nA safe and inclusive workplace\n\nWhy You Will Love this Job\nAs a Shift Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our fleet of Rehlko and Kohler generators (20-1500kVA), helping to ensure essential infrastructure remains operational across the region.\nThe Role\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance on diesel generators.\nDiagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs.\n12 hours per shift, on a 4 on / 4 off rota.\nSupport mobile engineers in the field on occasion using a company vehicle.\nWork closely with Coordinators to ensure smooth scheduling and effective handovers.\nCollect parts from local suppliers when required.\nMaintain accurate job records using our in-house system.\nAlways follow company health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nNVQ Level 3 (or time-served) in a mechanical or electrical discipline.\nPrevious hands-on experience with generators (20-1500kVA) is highly desirable.\nStrong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently.\nFull UK driving licence (max 6 points) - towing experience is an advantage, with training available.\nConfident communicator with the ability to work both within a team and unsupervised.\nCapable of completing risk assessments and adhering to safe systems of work.\nWhat You’ll Get\nCompetitive salary (Engineering Levels 1-4 DOE)\nOvertime paid after 46 hours\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\nPrivate healthcare\nDeath in Service cover\nCompany vehicle (from yard)\nComprehensive internal systems and product training\nAccess to our Outstanding Employee Assistance Programme\nAbout Us\nRehlko proudly offers a rich history steeped in creativity and commitment to our associates and communities, along with competitive benefits and compensation.
