Modifying existing individual components or designing the harnesses to allow all the individual components in the unit work together to achieve the performance required. Additionally, responsibilities will include supporting sustaining product development. As part of our SPD team, you will be challenged to identify and resolve critical issues from supply chain, manufacturing, or end customer.\nWork Environment\nWork mode: Hybrid-3 days on site\nLocation: N7650 County Rd LS, Sheboygan, WI, 53083\nRelocation assistance available\nRESPONSIBLITIES\nCommunication with the various internal Engineering groups, Hardware and Harness teams, Systems Team, Mechanical Engineering Teams, external component suppliers, the customer, Marketing, and Manufacturing.\nStrong communication skills, both spoken and written, are required for interaction with team members, suppliers, and customers.\nArticulate technical details effectively to team members and suppliers.\nCommunicate what is required to meet the performance criteria and how to test and verify that the performance was met.\nReport out schedules, progress, and requirements to product development teams.\nResponsible for developing and configuring solutions for a wide range of component and product configurations.\nResponsible for developing harness and wire management systems that comply with third party agency regulatory requirements and internal KPS design standards.\nProficiency with Windchill, SAP, AutoCAD, SEE Electrical, and/or Creo will be critical to long term success.\nDevelop a strong technical working knowledge on a wide variety of engine or generator controllers, sensor and third-party hardware and software tools.\nResponsible for improving and developing harness design procedures and standards.\nDirects or performs required testing to approve new suppliers of sensors, connectors, ECMs and accessories.\nResponsible for creating and maintaining the database of sensors, gauges, accessories, and auxiliary components that have been tested and approved for each controller, alternator, engine and switchgear assembly.\nOrganize, contribute to, define, and develop global standards for harness development.\nAssist with aligning North American processes with global initiatives, as they relate to harness development.\nGrow and develop electronics controller integration process.\nLearn and understand Leads and Harness manufacturing processes and capabilities in order to make informed and collaborative decisions for new and current products.\nDrive the process and review all test plans, specifications, prints and test results to ensure best practices are followed.\nAbility to lead Engineering Analysts in design and CAD and SEE tasks both at KPS and ITC.\nAbility to manage schedules and tasks for the successful implementation of generator integration projects.\nDemonstrate an ability to collaborate efficiently with team members, management, and customer representatives.\nReport project progress and results obtained to the Engineering Team in order to achieve overall milestones, timelines and/or objectives.\nLimited domestic and international travel (REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.\n5+ years of electrical engineering experience.\n2+ years in power systems is preferred.\nKnowledge of any of the following is a plus: Creo Cable, AutoCAD, SEE Electrical.\nKnowledge of designing to the National Electrical Code (NEC) Standards is a plus.\nSoftware experience with SAP or PTC Windchill is a plus.\nThe Salary range for this position is $89,800.00-$114,100.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.About Us\nRehlko proudly offers a rich history steeped in creativity and commitment to our associates and communities, along with competitive benefits and compensation.
