Your craftsmanship will directly impact the reliability and performance of equipment our customers depend on every day.\nWork on cutting-edge temporary heating equipment utilizing jet engine technology\nBuild complete engine systems from teardown through final testing\nCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Product Development teams\nOpportunity to work on prototypes and next-generation products\nStable, growing company with opportunities for advancement\nClean, safety-focused manufacturing environment\nCompetitive pay, excellent benefits (medical/dental/vision, 3 weeks PTO, 9 paid holidays, 401k w/ match after 90 days, etc.), and ongoing technical training\nWhat You'll Do\nEngine Assembly & Production\nBuild complete engine and heating units from start to finish using detailed work instructions and engineering specifications\nTear down returned engines and equipment for inspection and repair\nInspect and evaluate engine components for reuse, repair, or replacement\nPerform engine rebuilds and component replacements\nAssemble mechanical, electrical, and fuel system components to exact specifications\nMaintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship throughout the build process\nTesting & Diagnostics\nPerform operational testing before and after engine rebuilds\nDiagnose engine and equipment failures using mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques\nValidate repairs through performance testing\nConduct functional testing on complete units and individual components\nVerify equipment is production-ready before shipment\nPrototype Development & Engineering Support\nBuild prototype units from engineering designs\nTest new components and product improvements\nEvaluate prototype performance, durability, and reliability\nDocument testing results and provide technical feedback to Engineering\nParticipate in product development and continuous improvement initiatives\nInventory & Production Support\nMaintain organized inventory of engine components and production materials\nIdentify parts requiring replenishment and communicate purchasing needs\nEnsure accurate documentation of inventory movements and production activities\nSupport cycle counts and inventory accuracy\nDocumentation & Continuous Improvement\nComplete detailed teardown reports, inspection documentation, and test records\nMaintain accurate production data within company systems\nUpdate work instructions and documentation as products evolve\nRecommend process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency\nTeam Collaboration\nWork closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, and fellow technicians\nParticipate in technical discussions, production planning, and problem-solving meetings\nProvide technical expertise related to engine performance and failure analysis\nSupport field service teams when advanced technical knowledge is needed\nRequirements\nWhat We're Looking For\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required \nAssociate degree or technical certification in Aviation Maintenance, Powerplant Technology, Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred \nProfessional engine building experience or technical school experience building aircraft, turbine, diesel, racing, or industrial engines strongly preferred \nManufacturing or production assembly experience is a plus \nPreferred Backgrounds\nWe're interested in candidates with experience in areas such as:\nAircraft Engine Mechanic \nAirframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician \nTurbine Engine Technician \nAviation Maintenance Technician \nDiesel Engine Builder \nPerformance Engine Builder \nHeavy Equipment Technician \nIndustrial Maintenance Technician \nManufacturing Assembly Technician \nMilitary Aviation Maintenance \nTechnical Skills\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability \nExperience reading mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions \nSkilled with precision hand and power tools \nKnowledge of engine assembly techniques and mechanical systems \nAbility to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues \nBasic computer skills for documentation and production systems \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality \nPhysical Requirements\nThis position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, using hand tools, and working around moving machinery in a manufacturing environment.
