These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas.\nIn your role, you will execute piping design deliverables in projects in a safe manner, budget, schedule, and quality.\nYou should have a desire to work on multi-discipline local as well overseas projects and be able to drive discipline goals by working together with assigned discipline designers and engineers.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nInteract with the Design Discipline Piping Engineer and the project manager for solving technical problems arising during project development\n\nAbility to review Client's technical documentation and requirements, interpret topographical and geotechnical survey inputs, carry out detailed site surveys, verification, and data collection;\n\nCarry out lay-out study, tie-in, feasibility study, design basis, independently able to develop piping deliverables.\n\nMust have good knowledge and understanding of piping drawings (layouts, GAD’s, isometrics, plot plan).\n\nAble to organize inputs and supervise for preparation of piping drawings, support design, material take-offs\n\nUnderstand the interface within the multi-discipline project\n\nShould take full responsibility for proper and timely execution of project deliverables ensuring full compliance with the quality management system and any project-specific contractual requirements.\n\nEnsures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management teams.\n\nCoordinate with members of the piping discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors, etc.\n\nParticipates in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned, and close-out.\n\nAbility to prepare documents for piping related workshops such as model reviews for lay-out and actively participate in the same\n\nShould be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas\n\nCheck the piping engineering deliverables created by draughtsman.\n\nEnsure compliance with Health, Safety, Energy and Environmental objectives\n\nPreferred Skills & Requirements\nBachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical related degree.\n\nMinimum of 15+ years relevant engineering experience in Piping Design Engineering ASME B31.3.\n\nSoftware Skills: SP3D, MicroStation & AutoCAD and Min. 5 years in senior role.\n\nGood verbal as well written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.\n\nWillingness to overcome challenges and pressure during the peak of the project.\n\nWilling to do extensive site-surveys during project execution.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\n\nFluent in the English language\n\nShares the company values of teamwork, transparency, honesty, and equality\n\nTeam player, hardworking, problem solver and have a can-do attitude\n\nOur work is guided by our vision: Home of the learning minds.
