Your primary focus will be the frontend command and control GUI that operators use to monitor and command our vessels on live missions. This is the mission-critical interface operators rely on to visualize vessel state, execute commands, manage missions, and respond to system alerts in real-time.\n\nResponsibilities: \nOwn the design and delivery of real-time C2 interfaces for telemetry visualization, mission planning, and operator workflows for autonomous maritime vessels.\nSensor and payload data visualization such as video, sonar, LiDAR, and AIS in contextually appropriate displays per operator role.\nEngineer the role-based access and user management system for user provisioning, approval workflows, and permission models across operator roles.\nBuild reliable and low-latency backend services (WebSockets, REST, gRPC) for command routing, mission execution, and telemetry streaming over bandwidth-constrained maritime networks.\nBuild robust alert and notification systems for critical vessel events (battery, comms, sensor faults, anomalies) with high-confidence delivery.\nLead frontend optimization and rendering strategies to handle high-frequency sensor updates while maintaining responsive UX.\nEstablish data persistence and audit trail patterns for mission logs and telemetry with strong consistency guarantees.\nSet code quality standards through testing, architectural reviews, and mentorship of junior engineers.\nParticipate in architectural discussions on cross-stack design decisions.\n\nRequirements: \n3-5 years of hands-on frontend development with React.js and Next.js .\nExperience with real-time data visualization, building dashboards that handle high-frequency updates and continuous streams.\nSolid understanding of state management for complex application state (Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar).\nPractical experience with WebSockets for real-time communication and data streaming.\nPerformance optimization skills: profiling, rendering optimization, and memory management under high-frequency updates.\nHands-on experience building REST APIs and/or WebSocket services (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar).\nPractical experience with gRPC or other real-time communication protocols.\nDatabase experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).\nComfortable writing queries and optimizing performance.\n\nCore Skills: \nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills using browser DevTools, network monitoring, and backend logging tools.\nAbility to write clean, testable code for both frontend and backend.\nFamiliarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nPreferred Experience: \nExperience building command and control, telemetry, or monitoring systems (industrial dashboards, flight control interfaces).\nFamiliarity with geospatial/mapping libraries for mission planning (Leaflet, Mapbox, Cesium, or similar).\nUnderstanding of safety-critical systems or mission-critical software design patterns.\nKnowledge of robotics, IoT, or edge computing.\nSkills\nDynamoDB, MongoDB, MySQL, Next.js,
