for building reliable data pipelines, developing data transformation workflows, optimizing Snowflake workloads, and ensuring data quality and performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data transformation workflows using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.\nDevelop and optimize Snowflake tables, views, queries, stored procedures, and data models.\nBuild and maintain dbt models, including incremental models, snapshots, tests, macros, and model dependencies.\nWrite complex and optimized SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and reporting requirements.\nDevelop Python scripts and utilities for data processing, automation, and pipeline orchestration.\nImplement data ingestion and transformation processes from multiple source systems into Snowflake.\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.\nAnalyze and optimize Snowflake query performance, warehouse utilization, and data processing efficiency.\nImplement appropriate data modeling techniques, including fact/dimension modeling and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).\nTroubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve data quality and performance issues.\nCollaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements.\nFollow best practices for code quality, version control, testing, documentation, and deployment.\nMandatory Skills\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake\nStrong proficiency in SQL\nHands-on experience with dbt\nGood programming experience in Python\nStrong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines\nExperience with data modeling and database concepts\nExperience with data validation and data quality processes\nGood understanding of Snowflake performance
