Join us.\nAbout the Team: \nThe Facilities Engineering and Operations department is responsible formaintainingand optimizingRelativity’s physical assets, including buildings, infrastructure, and utilities. Guided by our team motto, \"People, Process, and Place,\" we manage maintenance programs for critical systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Our team oversees daily operations, including energy management, safety, and custodial services, while also addressing facility-related issues. We lead engineering projects, manage space utilization, and implement sustainability initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Key skills within the team include technical expertise, project management, problem-solving, and vendor management. Ultimately, weplay a key role in maintaininga safe, efficient, and sustainable work environment. \nAbout the Role:\nExcellent working knowledge of Heating & Cooling Systems\nMinimum 5+ years of experience in the construction industry working with Mechanical systems and other trades. \nExperience troubleshooting mechanical equipment. \nExperience with Mechanical distribution, load balancing, single-line diagrams, design documentation, construction drawings, construction bid solicitation, contractor selection, construction management, field superintendent, permitting, QA/QC. \nExperience with commissioning, operating, and maintenance of mechanical systems. \nExperience with grounding and bonding electrical and mechanical systems. \nAbout You:\nExperience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems \nPrior experience in service maintenance, construction, and/or repair. \nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, which may involve working from heights at 80+ ft and lifting up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to work on ladders as well as squatting, stooping and/or kneeling with a tool belt\nValid California state driver’s license and acceptable driving record \nNice to haves but not required: \n C-20 HVAC License \nOHSA 30 \nForklift certification, preferred \nAt Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
