Join us.\nAbout the Team:\nThe Avionics Development Technician team is responsible for testing avionics hardware and systems across the entire product lifecycle of Terran R: component-, subsystem-, and vehicle-level. As an Avionics Development Technician at Relativity Space, you will be responsible for building and testing hardware to print standards from start to finish. \nAbout the Role:\nOwn and coordinate material procurement activities to support avionics development, prototyping, and hardware builds\nManage material kitting operations, ensuring all required components are identified, organized, and prepared ahead of scheduled builds \nCollaborate closely with engineering teams to review bills of materials (BOMs), identify material requirements, and resolve discrepancies\nServe as the primary point of contact for all procurement, material availability, and kitting-related inquiries within the department\nTrack purchase requisitions, purchase orders, material lead times, and expected delivery dates to ensure alignment with project schedules\nProactively identify material shortages, procurement risks, and potential schedule impacts, communicating concerns to relevant stakeholders\nAbout You:\n2+ years of experience in procurement, material planning, inventory management, supply chain operations, or a related field\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, data organization, filtering, and reporting\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines\nExperience tracking material requirements, purchase orders, inventory levels, or procurement activities\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate material records\nAbility to identify potential material shortages and proactively coordinate solutions\nNice to haves, but not required:\nExperience working in aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, or hardware development environments\nFamiliarity with electrical components, connectors, wiring, cable assemblies, and related hardware\nExperience reviewing engineering bills of materials (BOMs) and technical documentation\nExperience using ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems\nAt Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
