With decades of experience scaling world-class technology organizations like Google, CEO Eric Schmidt is guiding Relativity into its next phase: advancing Terran R toward launch and building the foundation for long-term impact. \nThe Terrestrial Software team is building the foundation for an automated rocket factory and integrated launch platform. Their mission is to automate and streamline workflows across the entire lifecycle of Terran R, from raw material intake to launch operations and eventually manufacturing on Mars. This is a team for builders and thinkers who thrive on cross-functional impact and want to shape the digital backbone of our future in space.\nAbout the Role:\nOn the Factory Platform team, you will play a key role in the software development life cycle from initial concept, trade studies, design, implementation, and ongoing iteration\nDevelop applications used to plan and schedule purchasing and manufacturing operations, access and analyze engine and component test data, and several other tools used by engineers and operators across the company\nFollow agile development practices and implement quality software that is continuously integrated and deployed\nSolve complex problems with simple solutions. Work directly with users and stakeholder teams to figure out system requirements, implement the solutions, and iterate\nTechnologies we use: \nPython, React, Typescript, Go\nSpark, Iceberg, Duckdb, Redshift, DBT, Postgres, Mongo\nAWS, Kubernetes (both cloud and on-prem), Terraform, Helm\nAbout You:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related Engineering field (Computer, Software, Electrical, Aerospace)\n9+ years of experience building, shipping, and iterating on multiple apps and services in your career so far\nExperience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders\nProficient in whatever languages and tools you love most, and willing to learn new ones\nExpert in front-end frameworks (React) and related tools\nPassionate about mentoring and growing the engineers around you\nNice to haves but not required: \nExperience designing and scaling service architectures that support high-performance front-end operations\nExperience with systems-level programming like synchronization primitives, memory management, etc\nDemonstrated experience developing low-latency, safety-critical front-ends\nExperience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools\nAt Relativity Space, we are committed to transparency and fairness in our compensation practices.
