This role focuses on providing satisfaction to end users and distributors while ensuring company business goals of timely service and order fulfillment are met. The Service Coordinator works closely with the to maintain smooth operations and effective communication with customers.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nCustomer Service and Order Management\nPerform general order intake functions.\nAnswer incoming phone calls and emails from customers and distributors.\nRespond to inquiries regarding stock balance, pricing, and availability; enter subsequent customer orders.\nAssist in investigating issues related to inventory, pricing, deliveries, returns, credits, and technical problems.\nTrack incoming shipments and back orders.\nEnsure accurate daily filing of customer orders, invoices, acknowledgments, and departmental communications.\nTechnical Documentation and Support\nMaintain and update technical documentation and resources.\nAssist in coordinating between customers, sales representatives, and management.\nSupport sales and management with routine and special requests or projects.\nCommunicate administrative activities and contribute to business growth.\nProduct Knowledge and Development\nMaintain a high level of parts knowledge with the capacity to develop a solid understanding of Relevant Industrial’s business culture.\nAct on behalf of team members in their absence when necessary.\nParticipate in employee development programs, including product and application training, business, and personal development.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nFive years of experience working within the heavy equipment industry.\nThree years of practical experience in customer service.\nOne year of experience in the mining and construction industry.\nSkills and Competencies\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of complex situations with limited standardization.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nPhysical Requirements and Work Environment\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nFrequent communication with customers and cross-functional teams via phone, email, or in person.\nAbility to focus and concentrate in an office environment with standard noise levels.\nOccasional reaching, bending, or twisting to access office supplies or equipment.\nVisual acuity to view a computer screen and read printed materials.\nManual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.\nOccasionally required to stand and walk.\nMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.\nEqual Opportunity Employer Statement\nRelevant Industrial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
