Join us and make an impact on the world and your career!\nIn response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Merchandising team.\nMerchandising builds the systems retailers use to decide what to sell, where, and at what price. Those decisions ripple out into less waste, better-stocked shelves, and fairer pricing for millions of shoppers. In this role you own a product end to end: how it's built, how it runs in production, and how it evolves based on what customers actually need. That takes real technical depth plus enough product and business judgment to make the call yourself.\nWhat we need you to do and be\nOwn the codebase and technical outcomes for your product end to end, from the architecture calls to the quality bar to catching regressions before customers do\nBuild, ship and maintain production-quality code across the full stack\nWork directly with customers, gathering structured feedback and validating that what you build solves the business problem, not just the ticket as written\nRaise the bar around you through code review, design feedback and hands-on mentorship, so the engineers near you get better, not only your own output\nWork AI-fluently: use AI tools to move faster, and review AI-generated code as critically as you would a teammate's\nWhat you'll bring to the table\nA track record of owning a product or service end to end at senior level or above, including the product decisions and not only the technical ones\nFull-stack proficiency across backend, frontend and data layers, with real depth in at least one\nExperience mentoring or technically leading other engineers, formally or informally\nDistributed systems experience: you have designed for failure and scale, and run what you built in production\nClear technical communication, so you can explain a trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder as easily as to another engineer\nComfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy\nFluent in written and spoken English\nNice to have: exposure to retail, merchandising, or pricing and promotions\nMore important: you have worked on products where forecasting, regression, or optimization sit at the core, and you are used to reasoning about model behavior rather than just shipping features around it\nWhat we offer in return\nYou'll be supported and given the space to thrive.
