The ideal candidate will bridge technical leadership, rigorous process compliance, and people management to guarantee the safety, airworthiness, and regulatory approval of our flight software products.\nResponsibilities\nProvide direction and guidance to software verification engineers.\n\nOwn software verification efforts.\n\nTriage issues found during verification and coordination with relevant teams.\n\nProvide training and mentoring to engineers in verification processes, tools and best practices.\n\nIdentify, evaluate, and manage the qualification of software verification tools (e.g. test automation, static analyzers, coverage tools) according to DO-330 guidelines.\n\nBasic Success Criteria\n7+ years experience in safety-critical software verification to achieve DO-178C objectives.\n\n3+ years in a technical leadership or people management role\n\nProficiency with static analysis, structural coverage tools (e.g., Rapita, VectorCAST, LDRA), configuration management tools, and embedded programming environments (C/C++)\n\nExperience specifying and working with a range of test environments to fufill product and DO-178C verification objectives\n\nPractical experience of performing DO-178C verification analyses activities such as control and data coupling, worst case execution time etc\n\nExcellent documentation, collaboration, and cross-functional communication skills\n\nPreferred Criteria\nDemonstrated success scaling teams and maturing verification processes in a high-growth environment\n\nExperience with tool qualification for DO-178C/DO-330\n\nPrior certification liaison experience, working with Certification Authorities (FAA, EASA etc).\n\nExperience of automation and reporting of test results and coverage\n\nThis position requires access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls.
