You’ll play a critical role in building, operating, integrating, testing, diagnosing, inspecting, and maintaining highly reliable avionics systems, such as wiring harnesses and electromechanical hardware. You'll also help with the installation of those systems onto aircraft. Your work will support various product development phases, including prototyping, research and development, aircraft certification, and recurring production. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve as the last line of defense in ensuring our safety-critical systems are reliable and built to the intended engineering requirements.\nResponsibilities\nBuild, operate, integrate, test, diagnose, inspect, and maintain highly reliable systems, including wire harnesses, cable assemblies, avionics assemblies, and circuit card assemblies\n\nRead, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as drawings, layouts, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists\n\nDevelop and improve manufacturing and installation instructions\n\nAssure product and process quality by testing finished-product and process capabilities\n\nResolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions\n\nRecord work performed in a clear, precise, and complete manner\n\nAssist with the development of production and improvement processes\n\nBasic Success Criteria\n8+ years of professional experience building/fabricating wire harnesses or cable assemblies, or other testing, integration, or mechanical assembly experience\n\n5+ years of hands-on experience reviewing technical designs and working from drawings, schematics, layouts, assembly/procedures, master parts lists, and other controlled documentation\n\nOne or more of the following certifications: IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, NASA-STD-8739.4\n\nAbility to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools\n\nAbility to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation\n\nPreferred Criteria\nExperience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or a high-volume manufacturing company\n\nElectro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience\n\nExperience setting up and running tests and experiments\n\nOur team is passionate about delivering on our commitments, solving hard problems, continuously improving, and helping the business succeed.
