HVAC Installation Technician / Lead Installer
What You’ll Do:
- Install residential HVAC systems (condensers, coils, furnaces, air handlers, mini-splits, thermostats, ductwork)
- Act as lead of installation crews, depending on experience level
- Ensure installs are completed safely, on time, and to spec
- Perform ductwork installation, sealing, and airflow optimization
- Handle refrigerants, wiring, zoning systems, and smart technology
- Maintain van organization, tools, and jobsite cleanliness
- Train and mentor Installer Helpers (Lead-level roles)
What You Need:
- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (Lead preferred)
- EPA Certification (NATE preferred)
- Proven leadership ability (for Lead roles)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and install specifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
