The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and collaborative, bringing a sharp eye for detail to craft data infrastructure that drives reliable, high-impact business outcomes.\nAs a Data Engineer, you will do the following:\nIngestion\nBuild robust pipelines to ingest data from a variety of sources\nETL Development & Maintenance\nContinuously improve and maintain our ETL/ELT process, ensuring that the business has a set of clearly defined and highly useable tables that can be used to solve many business problems.\nEnsure code committed by other data departments is a good standard.\nPerform optimizations to keep processing costs controlled\nOrchestration\nBuild orchestration, version control and lineage systems to help identify bottlenecks and ensure a robust CICD process.\nCollaboration & Communication\nTranslate non-technical requirements into hard actions.\nWork with engineers to establish the “right” way to use generated data.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree (or higher)\nMinimum 3 years of proven experience post NYSC in data engineering roles.\nGreat SQL skills with hands-on experience querying and joining large datasets.\nProficiency in Python \nExperience with version control tools (e.g., Git).\nExperience with terraform for managing infrastructure and access management control.\nStrong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences\nNice to Have:\nDirect experience in healthcare, health insurance, or insurance\nBenefits\nAt Reliance Health, we prioritize our people and their well-being.
