The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JIRA administration, workflow configuration, JQL, dashboards, and JIRA Automation, with the ability to improve project tracking and automate repetitive processes. \nThis is a great fit for someone who wants to take hands-on ownership of a critical project management platform while continuously improving workflows, automation, and overall JIRA efficiency.\nEducational Requirements\nB.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or any relevant discipline from a reputed university.\nExperience Requirements\nOne (01) to three (03) years of experience in JIRA automation, IT systems administration, or Agile project tooling.\nHands-on experience with JIRA is required.\nExperience configuring JIRA workflows, boards, custom fields, permission schemes, dashboards, and automation is required.\nExperience with international clients in an Agile/Scrum environment is a strong advantage.\nOverview of the Responsibilities\nAdminister and maintain JIRA Software (Cloud/Data Center) - including projects, boards, workflows, custom fields, and permission schemes.\nBuild and maintain JIRA Automation rules to reduce manual effort, auto-assign issues, automate workflows, and sync data across projects.\nConfigure and optimize JIRA workflows, issue types, screens, fields, and project settings according to team requirements.\nCreate dashboards, JQL filters, and reports to provide visibility into project health, workload, KPIs, and issue tracking.\nIdentify repetitive manual processes and develop JIRA-based automation solutions to improve efficiency.\nManage integrations between JIRA and tools like Confluence, Slack, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.\nMonitor and troubleshoot JIRA workflows, automation rules, permissions, and configuration issues.\nOnboard new users/teams into JIRA, providing training and documentation.\nMaintain JIRA configuration standards, documentation, and best practices.\nCommunicate regularly with US clients and internal stakeholders regarding JIRA administration, automation, and process improvements.\nKey Requirements\nStrong hands-on knowledge of JIRA administration and configuration.\nWorking knowledge of JQL (JIRA Query Language) for filters, dashboards, reporting, and automation.\nStrong understanding of JIRA workflows, boards, issue types, custom fields, permissions, and project configurations.\nHands-on experience with JIRA Automation and the ability to design automation rules for different use cases.\nExperience with advanced JIRA automation and integration with external tools.\nSolid understanding of Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nHigh attention to detail, ownership mentality, and proactive problem-solving.\nMust be willing to work flexible hours to coordinate with US clients.\nAbility to use cutting edge technologies like AI to efficiently deliver tasks.\nNice To Have Requirements\nProven experience administering a mid-to-large JIRA instance (500+ users).\nExperience with ScriptRunner (Groovy), JIRA Service Management (JSM), or marketplace apps like Tempo/Structure.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs for JIRA scripting, automation, or bulk operations.\nExposure to SaaS enterprise solutions or healthcare/fintech/logistics domains.\nWhat's in it for
