Learn more at www.relocity.com. \nWhat You’ll Do…\nAs a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant), you will be a trusted partner to our clients and their employees, guiding them through every stage of the relocation process. From coordinating their move and ensuring a smooth transition to handling key logistical details with a white-glove approach, you will provide high-touch support to help them feel at home in their new city.\nThis role is primarily remote (60-70%), with the remaining 30-40% dedicated to in-person client support throughout the city. While you’ll have the freedom to manage your time, you will be expected to align your schedule within the company’s flexible work policies to ensure you’re available for your clients when they need you.\nSuccess in this role requires deep local expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others navigate life changes. Strong project management, calendar coordination, problem-solving abilities, and tech fluency are also fundamental to delivering a seamless experience.\nHow You’ll Do It…\nDevelop strong relationships with relocating employees by understanding their unique needs, preferences, and concerns throughout the relocation process.\nProvide expert guidance on the city’s neighborhoods, transportation options, and local culture to help employees make informed decisions.\nConduct in-depth housing research, including rental market trends, school ratings, commute times, and neighborhood suitability based on client preferences. \nOffer school support as needed by presenting both public and private options based on the destination, and assist with school viewings and the admission process whenever possible.\nAssist with essential services such as conversion of driver’s license, banking setup, and other logistical requirements to ensure a smooth transition.\nSupport and guide relocating employees through the process of complying with local regulations in the host country, including but not limited to townhall registration, obtaining social ID numbers, and registering for tax purposes.\nCurate personalized recommendations for social, cultural, and lifestyle activities, including restaurants, networking events, fitness centers, and family-friendly venues.\nGather and deliver customized information by conducting research, leveraging local expertise, and utilizing Relocity’s proprietary software and GSuite products to create tailored client reports.\nCoordinate and lead area tours, either in person or virtually, providing firsthand insights into neighborhoods, housing options, and key amenities.\nFacilitate ongoing communication with relocating employees via phone, email, video calls, or in-person meetings to address questions and provide timely updates.\nServe as the primary point of contact throughout the entire relocation journey, liaising between clients, partners, and vendors to ensure a seamless experience.\nEfficiently manage multiple relocations at various stages, maintaining organization, attention to detail, and proactive follow-ups.\nHandle administrative responsibilities, including updating client records, documenting key interactions, and ensuring all necessary tasks are completed in a timely manner.\nWhat Past Experience and Current Skills Will Enable Your Success In This Role?\nMust have the legal right to work in Munich, Germany\nMust have at least 5 years of residency inMunich, with extensive knowledge of the local rental market, education system, and local registration processes\nAble to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week\nMust be flexible and available to work weekends \nFriendly, outgoing personality, strong customer service orientation, and problem-solving abilities. \nMust be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively\nPrior personal relocation or moving assistance experience is preferred, but not required\nEducation and/or Technology Requirement\nBachelor or Associate’s degree (or equivalent) preferred \nExtensive experience with technology tools such as Microsoft Office, Google GSuite, and CRM systems\nMust have a laptop, smartphone, and reliable internet connection\nLanguage Skills \nFluency in German and English is required for daily communication with international clients and stakeholders.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as contracts, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence\nAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization\nPay: €24.23 - €26.78\nRelocity is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion/creed, national origin, gender, or sex, marital status, age, disability, use of a guide dog or service animal, sexual orientation, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by Federal or State law or local ordinance.
