This role adds energy and Linux depth to that team. Responsibilities span multiple areas but no single function will overwhelm you. We are looking for someone curious and adaptable who wants to grow across disciplines in a fast-moving defense environment.\nIf you are the kind of person who spins up a Linux VM for fun on a Saturday, ReLogic is where you belong.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAdminister and support Linux-based systems including configuration, maintenance, scripting, and troubleshooting\nProvide end user support and helpdesk assistance across hardware, software, and network issues\nSupport Windows systems administration including user accounts, group policy, and endpoint management\nAssist with network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems\nAssist with security documentation, continuous monitoring, and system authorization activities\nSupport vulnerability scanning, patch management, and system hardening activities\nMaintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and configuration management records\nSupport onboarding and offboarding of personnel including account provisioning and access management\nRespond to IT and cybersecurity incidents and support investigation and remediation activities\nRequired Qualifications\nGenuine passion for Linux with hands-on experience in a professional or personal environment required\n0-2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role, or equivalent education and experience\nBasic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls\nStrong troubleshooting skills and eagerness to learn across all areas of IT\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience\nProficiency with Linux scripting including Bash or Python\nExperience with Windows Server administration\nFamiliarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Proxmox\nExperience with endpoint security tools, vulnerability scanners, or SIEM platforms\nFamiliarity with CMMC or NIST SP 800-171 is a plus but not required\nCompTIA Linux+, Security+, or similar certification, or active pursuit of certification\nExperience in a defense, government contracting, or regulated industry environment\nThis is a full-time salaried position with highly competitive compensation based on experience and skills, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.\nReLogic Research, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination and harassment.
