You will work directly on technically demanding inspection and geometry capture projects with real deliverables and direct customer impact from day one.\nIf you are the kind of engineer who gets satisfaction from capturing a complex part and producing a precise, accurate dimensional analysis or CAD model, ReLogic is where you belong.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nOperate structured light scanning systems to capture precise geometry of aerospace and defense components and assemblies\nPerform dimensional inspection and analysis comparing scan data to engineering drawings and GD&T requirements\nProcess and analyze scan data to produce accurate inspection reports and geometry deliverables\nSupport reverse engineering efforts by developing CAD models from scan data\nConduct on-site and off-site scanning and inspection activities at customer and government facilities\nDocument and communicate inspection results clearly in technical reports and deliverables\nSupport mechanical design projects and tooling development as needed\nRequired Qualifications\nBS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline\nHands-on experience with 3D scanning hardware or metrology equipment in a professional or academic environment\nWorking knowledge of GD&T and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with structured light scanning systems such as ATOS, Creaform, or similar\nExperience with metrology and inspection software including ControlX or DesignX\nProficiency in SolidWorks for CAD modeling and scan-to-CAD workflows\nFamiliarity with point cloud processing and mesh editing workflows\nExperience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, or assembly\nFamiliarity with first article inspection documentation and dimensional reporting\nExperience supporting reverse engineering or geometry recovery efforts\nThis is a full-time salaried position with highly competitive compensation based on experience and skills, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
