Want to make a meaningful impact on people's health? Want to work in an AI-native company? At Relu, we're growing - and we're looking for someone like you.We're looking for a Product Engineer, Frontend & UX to join our Automate Platform team. Your mission is to make Automate simple for dental labs to use, and own how the product looks and feels. You will:\n Design system: turn relui into a real base layer, with consistent type scale, spacing, dialogs and buttons. Build a table component that works like Linear or Notion (column config, saved views, inline edits, keyboard use).\n Simpler order creation: a simple flow showing the main options in plain terms (for example tight, medium, loose instead of retention in mm), with the full parameter set one click away.\nAgents simple mode: a guided mode focused on inbox status updates and a few common actions. Also a clearer view of past runs and better grouping of pieces.\nInbox UX: Scan Check warnings in the inbox viewer, clear sync status and errors, customizable dashboards on inbox data.\nDentist-facing flows: share a case with a dentist to approve or reject outputs, with drawing and comments on the 3D view.\nOnboarding and product updates: an in-app academy, guided first steps, an in-app changelog, a notification center.\nAsk Relu UI: make the chat less cluttered and better at guiding users through the app.\nFirst 6 months\nMonth 1: ship two or three UX fixes across orders and inbox, and write a short UI audit of the app.\nMonths 2 to 3: design-system v1 (tokens, dialogs, buttons) and the new table component, rolled out to the inbox and orders lists.\nMonths 3 to 4: simple order-creation flow, tested with three customers.\nMonths 4 to 6: agents simple mode and the dentist approval flow.\nYour profile\nWhat you should bring to the teamProduct ownership and vision: You take a raw user problem, dig to the real need, and separate what's essential from what's nice to have - before you write a line of code\n3+ years building web product UIs, with at least 2 years owning UX decisions, not just implementing designs\nStrong TypeScript and a modern component framework - Vue preferred, React fine if you're ready to switch\nA portfolio or live product where you shaped the UX: you can walk us through the problem, what you tried, and why you landed where you did\nYou've built or maintained a component library or design system\nYou work well from loose specs and talk to users directly, without needing to be pushed\nYou can coach a junior engineer through code reviews and pairing sessions\nThe 'Nice-to-haves'\nExperience with data-heavy B2B tools: tables, filters, dashboards, workflow builders\n3D or canvas work (three.js, WebGL)\nFigma skills good enough to throw together a quick mock\nBackground in healthcare or other professional-tool environments\nDutch or French\n\nHow you workYou're an independent thinker: you don't blindly implement tickets. You think through the consequences and connections of your work and find smart solutions to problems.\nYou're reliable - people can count on you to see things through.You communicate. You pick up a ticket, ask questions when in doubt, and then execute until it's done - without breaking other things along the way. We don't work in silos.\nYou think sharply, and you'll be surrounded by people who do the same.\n\nOur Tech Stack = Your Tech Stack\nFrontend: Vue 3, TypeScript, Vuetify, Pinia, vue-query, Nx monorepo\nBackend & APIs: Python, FastAPI - you'll add endpoints when a feature needs it\nData & Databases: PostgreSQL\n3D: three.js (occasional, e.g. the dentist approval flow)\nInfrastructure & DevOps: AWS, CI/CD\nPractical Requirements / Eligibility\nFluent in English (written and spoken)\nValid work authorization in Belgium\nAble to work from our Leuven office at least 3 days per week\nRed flags (we're honest about what doesn't fit)\nYou need finished designs before you can start\nYou talk about frameworks and never about users\nYour portfolio shows implemented mockups - but no UX decisions of your own\nYou reach for visual flourish when the user just needed fewer steps\nWhy us?\nA mission that matters: we're improving dental care and making higher-quality dentistry accessible to everyone, globally\nA fast-growing company where your growth goes hand-in-hand with ours - real impact, real ownership, early responsibility and skills in the technologies of the future\nThe chance to work with the latest AI technologies and industry leaders in dentistry\nFun team culture: after-works, bi-weekly sports, hackathons, retreats","description_format":"text","description_chars":4589,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"Advanced (C1)","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Belgium","iso":"BE","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Machine Learning","Custom Software Development"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-13T15:17:30Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":7,"expected_fill_days":30,"reasons":["conf:2","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-21T05:46:15Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/relu-product-engineer-front-end-ux-mid-level","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/relu-product-engineer-front-end-ux-mid-level.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-21T06:57:26Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":9865,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-22T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":32307},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=32307"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Frelu-product-engineer-front-end-ux-mid-level"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Frelu-product-engineer-front-end-ux-mid-level"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Frelu-product-engineer-front-end-ux-mid-level"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/relu-product-engineer-front-end-ux-mid-level\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Frelu-product-engineer-front-end-ux-mid-level"}]}
