This role will also work closely with the Director of Communications for Technology & Product, helping ensure Technology communications are coordinated and aligned with Elsevier’s wider communications strategy and priorities.\nAbout the Role\nThe Digital Workplace and Security Communications Manager will develop, coordinate and deliver colleague communications that support Elsevier’s digital workplace, security, technology tooling and AI enablement priorities. Working across Technology Optimization and Global Communications, you will translate technical information into clear, practical and actionable communications that help colleagues understand change, adopt new tools, work securely and use AI responsibly and confidently. This role partners closely with senior technology and security leaders and plays a key role in delivering timely, coordinated and accessible communications across the business.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and deliver colleague communications that support digital workplace, security, technology tooling and AI enablement priorities.\n\nTranslate complex technical topics into clear, practical and engaging communications for broad and varied audiences.\n\nSupport the communication priorities of the CISO, SVP Technology Infrastructure and Operations, SVP Digital Business Solutions and Director, Technology & Product Communications.\n\nCreate and coordinate communication plans, campaigns and content calendars aligned to agreed priorities and governance.\n\nSupport technology change initiatives, platform transitions, tooling updates and digital workplace programmes.\n\nDeliver communications that encourage adoption of new tools, behaviours and ways of working.\n\nPartner with Technology, Security, End User Computing, AI Enablement, TechDesk, Tooling and Communications teams.\n\nEnsure communications are timely, coordinated, accessible and aligned across channels.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or 5 years equivalent professional experience.\n\nExperience in internal communications, employee communications, change communications or corporate communications.\n\nExperience developing and delivering colleague campaigns for broad and varied audiences.\n\nStrong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex or technical information into clear and practical communications.\n\nExperience supporting technology change, platform transitions, tooling updates, digital workplace initiatives or similar programmes.\n\nUnderstanding of how communications can support the adoption of new tools, behaviors and ways of working.\n\nStrong planning and coordination skills, including experience managing content calendars, communications plans and multiple stakeholders.\n\nExperience managing or contributing to channels such as SharePoint, intranets, Viva Engage, Slack, email updates or knowledge hubs.\n\nGood judgment, attention to detail and the ability to manage timely or sensitive communications.
