In this senior individual contributor role, you will take ownership of complex technical challenges, contribute to technical decision-making, and work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.\nResponsibilities\n- Design, build and maintain high-quality software across multiple services and components.\n- Produce clear technical designs aligned to RX architecture principles and engineering standards.\n- Build secure, resilient, observable and maintainable systems that reduce long-term operational cost.\n- Lead pragmatic technical decision-making, making appropriate trade-offs between speed, quality and sustainability.\n- Improve test strategy, deployment confidence, code quality and engineering practices across the team.\n- Own the operational health of services, including monitoring, incident response, post-mortems and remediation.\n- Work closely with Product and business stakeholders to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.\n- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical guidance and knowledge sharing.\nRequirements\n- Experience delivering large, complex, global or multi-tenant production systems.\n- Strong ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable, incremental technical solutions.\n- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product development teams.\n- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to engineers, product teams and business stakeholders.\n- Proven ownership of production services, including reliability, observability, incident response and continuous improvement.\n- track record of mentoring engineers and improving team engineering capability.\n- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, JavaScript or TypeScript, React and SQL/PostgreSQL.\n- Experience designing, operating and optimising cloud-native applications on AWS, including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS and Elastic Beanstalk.\nWork in a Way That Works for You\nWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
