This structure fosters strong connections and empowers members to contribute their unique perspectives and deliver outcomes together.\nAbout the Role\nThis position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with technical personnel and team members to finalize software requirements and understand product requirements.\n\nDevelop and review detailed specifications and translate moderately complex requirements into effective software designs.\n\nImplement software development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews.\n\nDevelop, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and complete bug fixes across various development environments.\n\nCollaborate with key stakeholders in Agile, Waterfall, and other development methodologies.\n\nWork with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA, Cosmos DB, REST APIs, and distributed systems.\n\nConfigure and support services using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as Azure, with a focus on performance optimization.\n\nStay current with emerging technologies and contribute to technology migrations and related initiatives, including Java upgrades, Kafka/EventHub, Databricks, and Python as applicable.\n\nRequirements\n5+ years of Software Engineering experience.\n\nBS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.\n\nStrong Java experience; Java 8 required, with Java 11/21 experience preferred.\n\nHands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA, and Cosmos DB.\n\nExperience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions preferred), and Azure cloud environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Kafka/EventHub and strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.\n\nJava migration experience (8 → 11/21), Databricks, and Python are good to have.\n\nLearn more about our team and culture here\n\nWe know your well-being and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
