The role has overall accountability for business-as-usual production across online case law and Law Reports, ensuring content meets established standards for quality, timeliness, and completeness while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement. Based in the UK (Farringdon / Lexis House), this position also plays a key role in the adoption of AI-enabled workflows and editorial innovation.\nResponsibilities\nOversee workflows for UK case law content across digital and print formats, ensuring quality, accuracy, timeliness, and cost effectiveness.\n\nCollaborate with commercial and product stakeholders to align editorial output with market requirements and opportunities.\n\nDevelop, monitor, and report on editorial metrics and performance indicators aligned to operational objectives.\n\nDrive adoption, growth, and integration of systems, tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions within editorial processes.\n\nLead UK-based editorial teams delivering case law content across the UK portfolio.\n\nEnsure online case law and Law Reports outputs meet established standards for quality, timeliness, and completeness.\n\nSupport operational efficiency and performance management within a structured, high-performance environment.\n\nContribute to innovation, consistency, productivity, and quality across editorial operations.\n\nRequirements\nExperience leading editorial teams and content production operations (legal content).\n\nLaw degree or relevant work experience, with a strong understanding of legal principles.\n\nAbility to manage complex workflows across digital and print publishing environments.\n\nStrong focus on quality, accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence.\n\nExperience using performance metrics and reporting to drive outcomes.\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively with commercial and product stakeholders.\n\nExperience supporting process improvement, automation, or AI-enabled workflows.\n\nStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAbility to work in a structured, high-performance environment while driving innovation.\n\nWork in a Way That Works for You\nWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
