She/he suggests new design patterns but primarily works within pre-existing frameworks.\nAccountabilities:\nCustomer (or User) Focus\nUnderstands how UI design impacts the overall user experience.\nFamiliar with and can use customer frameworks (e.g. Jobs To Be Done, personas, journey maps).\nKeeps up to date on news/incidents and understands what is happening in the market and with competitors.\nCreative Problem Solving\nAsks the right questions to explore the problem.\nIterates and tests solution to check it solves the problem.\nConsiders the problem from a number of angles.\nIndependently identifies different creative solutions.\nCollects feedback from users, other designers and stakeholders.\nProduct Design\nFollows a User-Centred visual design process.\nCreates original visual design assets.\nWorks with UX Researcher to understand the user needs.\nWorks with UX Designer to define structure and layout of the product.\nWorks with existing design patterns and style guides, occasionally introducing new patterns.\nData Driven Analysis & Testing\nIterates work based on testing and data analysis.\nRegularly tests design work with users in partnership with UX Research team.\nExplores data from analytics packages, customer insight or other sources to understand context of design work.\nProactively uses data to establish key metrics for projects.\nTechnical Skills:\nGood knowledge of the tech stack of the organization.\nUses relevant tools for communicating designs to developers (InVision, Zeplin).\nUses design software (Adobe, Sketch) to intermediate level.\nProatively identifies needs for training in technical skills.\nUnderstands the nuances of designing for different platforms.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in IT-related course (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems).\nAt least 4 years of Visual Design, UI Design, or UX Design experience in a corporate, marketing, e-commerce, or digital product environment.\nStrong proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.\nExperience designing websites, e-commerce stores, landing pages, or marketing pages with a portfolio showcasing actual production work (not personal or mock projects).\nFamiliarity with HTML and CSS and an understanding of how designs are implemented in websites.\nExperience creating and maintaining Design Systems, including reusable components, branding guidelines, patterns, and templates.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, project managers, and global teams.\nContinuous Learning & Self-Development - Open to feedback, eager to learn, and actively pursues growth opportunities.\nProblem Solving & Analytical Thinking - Identifies issues, gathers relevant information, and recommends practical solutions.\nInnovation & Creativity - Generates new ideas and explores opportunities to improve processes, designs, and user experiences.\nCommunication Skills - Effectively communicates ideas, actively listens, and collaborates with stakeholders and team members.\nCollaboration & Teamwork - Builds positive working relationships and works effectively across teams.\nRelationship Building - Approachable, professional, and able to establish strong partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders.\nAbility to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.\n\nWe know your well-being and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
