This role is focused on training, education, enablement, and accounting best practices related to Remarcable’s integrations.\nExperience in the construction ecosystem-especially electrical contracting-is a major advantage. Construction accounting is unique, and your industry familiarity will give you immediate credibility with customers and internal teams.\nIf you enjoy teaching accounting concepts, translating ERP functionality into practical workflows, and being the trusted accounting SME inside a fast-growing SaaS company, this role is an excellent fit.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTraining & Enablement\nDeliver live and virtual training sessions for customers and internal teams on accounting workflows, construction-specific practices, ERP integrations, and financial data flow.\n\nDevelop training materials, documentation, process guides, and best-practice resources tailored to construction accounting.\n\nConduct workshops focused on AP, AR, GL, Job Costing, WIP, retainage, and revenue workflows, aligned to contractor needs.\n\nBuild and maintain enablement curriculum for onboarding, expansions, and ongoing education.\n\nAccounting & ERP Subject-Matter Expertise\nAct as the organization’s accounting SME with strong understanding of construction workflows and terminology.\n\nTranslate accounting requirements-including job costing, cost codes, committed cost tracking, and subcontractor billing-into appropriate Remarcable configurations.\n\nPartner with Product and Engineering to validate accounting workflows and ensure alignment with construction accounting principles.\n\nIntegration Guidance & Workflow Mapping\nHelp customers understand how their accounting data maps into Remarcable and through connected systems (Sage, Trimble, Foundations, etc.).\n\nExplain integration behavior, exception scenarios, and data transformation rules relevant to construction accounting.\n\nSupport onboarding teams with GL mapping, cost code structures, vendor workflows, PO/receipt/invoice flows, and job costing alignment.\n\nProvide accounting logic or workflow context when support cases involve financial processes.\n\nDocumentation & Collaboration\nCreate documentation for accounting workflows, integration logic, construction best practices, and training curriculum.\n\nCollaborate with Support, CS, Supplier Relations, Engineering, and Product teams.\n\nContribute to internal knowledge-sharing to elevate accounting and construction workflow literacy across the organization.\n\nWho You Are\nCore Strengths\nStrong communicator capable of teaching accounting concepts clearly to diverse audiences.\n\nAble to translate accounting language into clear system workflows.\n\nComfortable presenting, training, and leading discussions with both internal teams and customers.\n\nNaturally curious and proactive in understanding complex financial and construction processes.\n\nOrganized, articulate, and confident in building documentation and training programs.\n\nAccounting Background\nStrong understanding of GL, AP, AR,\n\nNice to have experience with Job Costing, WIP, Accruals, Revenue workflows, and retainage.\n\nExperience in construction or electrical contracting accounting is nice to have\n\nHands-on experience with ERPs\n\nAccounting degree, minor, designation, or equivalent experience required.\n\nIndustry Experience\nBackground in construction, electrical contracting, distribution, or material supply is an asset.\n\nSystems & SaaS Aptitude\nComfortable learning new systems and understanding platform data flow.\n\nAbility to translate system behavior into business language.\n\nExperience in SaaS environments is an asset.\n\nAbout Remarcable, Inc.\nRemarcable is a Series A-funded SaaS company revolutionizing how contractors work.
