The position entails communicating with multiple entities; customers, vendors and coworkers to deliver a superior level of customer service and technical support. The AE must be able to respond to technical and sales based customer inquiries related to the products and services which the company provides. The AE will work with Account Managers and customers to pursue day to day sales for the company. The primary interface is telephone calls and email. Customer site visits may also be required occasionally.\n Specific Responsibilities\nQuickly Respond to inquiries from customers\nUtilize Sales Process to drive business growth, uncover opportunities and grow scope\nDevelop relationships with customer accounts and pursue/qualify sales opportunities\nPerform sizing and selection of Pressure Management Products (PRV, Regulators, Y-Pattern Globe Valves, Flame Arrestors, etc) based on customer’s application & process conditions\nCreating valve assemblies through use of stock components, bill of materials\nPreparing quotations in response to customer inquiries and RFQs\nTroubleshooting technical issues via telephone with customers\nKeeping up with new technology and industry trends\nReview of terms and conditions for contracts/purchase orders\nFamiliarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, PED, local regulations) is a plus.\nOther tasks as assigned\nRequired Competencies\nCustomer service\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nTeam Work\nUnderstanding of basic process control fundamentals is desired\nSelf-Motivated, organized and professional\nRequired Education & Experience\n4 year Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent industry experience\n Preferred Experience/Competencies\n1+ years of Sales or Engineering experience preferred\nFamiliarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, PED, local regulations) is preferred\nPhysical Requirements\nStanding\nWalking\nSitting\nKneeling\nReaching Overhead\nClimbing\nPushing and Pulling\nLifting - 30 pounds\nUsing a Computer\nUsing a Telephone\nDriving\nRE Mason Company is a federal contractor and, as such, is required to solicit the disability status and protected veteran status of candidates.
