Associated work often includes the service/repair of associated control, isolation, regulator/relief valves, including valve instrumentation.\nSpecific Responsibilities\nAssist in the assembly, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of electric actuators in the shop or at customer facilities\nDetermine service requirements for electrical and mechanical components by use of technical drawings and various types of measuring equipment\nPreventive Maintenance and repair of electric actuators from brands such as Bettis, Limitorque, Rotork, Beck, and Auma.\nAssist in the design of the bracket and coupling interface between electric actuators and valves\nCustomer communication - technical assistance, troubleshooting, determining disposition of repairs\nAdherence to all safety, quality and company rules/regulations\nMaintain excellent housekeeping standards\nParticipation and involvement in Safety, Quality, and Activities Committees.\nComplete site-specific safety requirements\nMaintain driver eligibility\nPerform other duties as assigned\nRequired Competencies\nStrong Electrical Ability/Aptitude\nStrong Safety Culture\nProcess Control communication protocols including HART, Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS and Modbus.\nFamiliar with Control System Rack Rooms, termination panels, and wiring associated with electric actuator installations\nProblem Solving and Troubleshooting\nMechanical Ability/Aptitude\nKnowledge of rigging and lifting\nAble to operate repair equipment namely: overhead cranes, forklifts, sand blasters, power tools and electrical devices such as multi meters, HART Communicators\nAbility to stay task focused\nSelf-Starter and Self-Directed\nAvailable for overnight travel up to 4 weeks (supporting nuclear refueling outages) with an overall field to shop ratio of 70%.\nMust be able to work off hours, weekends, and OT on a short notice basis based on business needs\nAble to work in abnormal (heat/cold/clean room) operating conditions.\nExcellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal and customer relations skills - exhibit an ability to effectively communicate with plant personnel.\nTime Management Skills\nTeamwork\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nTechnical/Trade School preferred\n2 years Industrial plant experience preferred\nValve repair experience\nBasic computer skills\nPhysical Requirements\nStanding - long periods of time\nWalking - long periods of time\nSitting\nKneeling - long periods of time\nReaching Overhead\nClimbing\nPushing and Pulling\nUse of hand tools and power tools\nLifting - 50 Pounds\nDriving\nCompensation\nThe base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $200,000 annually.
